Visa
You may need a visa to enter Lithuania. Lithuania is a member of the Schengen area, which

Water
Lithuanian tap water is among the cleanest in Europe and is perfectly
drinkable. This is because 100% of it is taken from abundant underground
sources sheltered from human interference.
Electric supply
In Lithuania the power plugs and sockets are of type F (this socket also
works with plug C and plug E.). The standard voltage is 220 V and the standard
frequency is 50 Hz.
Currency
The official currency of Lithuania is the euro. Euro is used in many
European countries and the banknotes are similar everywhere, lacking any
Lithuanian details. Some coins have Lithuanian coat of arms (Vytis) on them,
but the coins with details of other European countries also circulate within
Lithuania.
Language
Lithuanian is the official language of Lithuania. Lithuanian language is
the oldest living language from the Indo-European language family and shares
many features with other archaic (but extinct) languages from the same language
family, such as Sanskrit, Latin and Ancient Greek. Lithuanian is a national
identity with over 85% of native speakers and 90% fluent speakers in the
country.
English is the most popular foreign language in Lithuania, and is spoken by
about 80% of the country"s youth while Russian language usually is spoken by
older Lithuanians.
